These are photos from the 3D technology event at Sony studios last week. High-end 3D camera consumers came to test Sony’s newest line of 3D video cameras. With our team of actors, stunt men and street performers, guests were able to capture the moment in 3-Dimensionally.
The first half of the event included action packed scenes in the Spider Man alley with Western stunt men flipping and fighting using various weapons. Simultaneously, on the other side of the sound stage, was our happily married sitcom couple. Guests were able to capture the 3D footage indoors with action and also with everyday non-action movement.
During the second half of our day, our clients used the Sony 3D cameras to grab outdoor footage of our dixieland band, unicyclist, and jugglers. The event was quite interactive and amusing. Our unicyclist rode around and through the crowd, while our jugglers included guests into the show by twirling silk ribbon around their bodies in a tornado effect. Jugglers then tossed bowling pins back and forth to each other while one of our camera enthusiasts caught 3D footage of the pins floating through the air over her head. The jugglers even played with fire for a bit.
Our guests were well entertained with laughter from the different acts and never experienced a dull moment. The unscripted spontaneity of our performers left the crowd excited to see what would happen next.

2011 is off to a great start! Joe Diamond Enterprises has a unique way of launching the new year. Our typical day at work doesn’t involve sitting in a cubicle 9am-5pm, but instead our average day is one big party! The new year has just begun and we’ve incorporated everything from magicians to paparazzi and posh Beverly Hills Restaurants to our anything but typical day at work.
Lets begin by getting acquainted with one of our more than pleased clients; Snap-On Tools. We were hired to entertain them at their annual sales kick-off, and that’s exactly what we did. With the addition of one of our very talented comedy magicians to show them a night full of fun and non-stop laughs, their guests were more than amazed at all the magical tricks.
Snap-On Tools Event
At another event, we surprised a very special young man on his 60th birthday. It was literally a surprise. A surprise for him and a surprise for us. We had less than 24 hours to pull off a surprise birthday celebration and we had no idea where he’d settle down to have lunch. So with our cast of fake paparazzi, herald trumpets, and videographer, we went to West Hollywood and waited outside of Madeo. At the very LAST minute, we find out he’s changed his mind and is going to E. Baldi in Beverly Hills. Talk about spontaneous! We arrived just seconds after he walked into the restaurant. In order to make a huge impact we were forced to discretely stake out the restaurant until our birthday boy finished eating. As we waited, Larry King strolled in and then a big black SUV dropped off the one and only Elton John! The funny thing is that our “paparazzi” wasn’t there for any big named celebrity, just a nice man looking to enjoy a nice birthday with his family.
Finally our birthday boy finished lunch only to walk out and be bombarded by herald trumpets playing happy birthday and “paparazzi” harassing him for his picture. He quickly drove off and headed to the Beverly Hills Hotel where our lovely flower girls awaited his arrival with rose petals. What a day!

We had a GREAT Harry Potter themed event. It was a HIT at the Universal Hilton. At this event our guests had a great time with characters and train conductors contributing to the fun that night.

The fun isn’t over yet, it is only beginning here at the Hyatt Regency- LB. Here we have put together an event featuring a live band to entertain our guests with all the greatest music. The music played was anything from the early 80s to hits from the present day. You can only imagine what the dance floor looked like.
One of our last events for the month was at the Queen Mary for fun and games! Here we gave our clients everything - A casino, basketball pop-a-shot, quarter back pass, and other carnival games.
Don’t get tired yet!! 2011 has just begun!

“Make It Up” Comedy Improv
Every year Northrop Grumman invites students from various colleges and universities around the U.S. to SoCal. This year our fabulous Comedy Improv group entertained these future rocket scientists and engineers. It was a huge success!
Later on in the month, we entertained the engineers of Future Logic. This was a more mature crowd and another successful event. Comedy Improv is excellent for any group looking for creative and interactive fun.
Unique Holiday Party Fun
- We shook things up at Konami’s annual holiday event with our Juggling & Plate Spinning (little person) Elf.
- Our ”Living” Mechanical Doll that pops out of a large wrapped present, better known as our Christmas Presence,
was a big hit at the Ronald Reagan Library’s annual holiday extravaganza.

Murder Mystery Dinner
Another interactive form of entertainment is Murder Mystery. Our friends at Tek Systems had a great time working together to crack the case. The event was action packed and filled with laughter.
The Grove & The Americana At Brand
We “Jingle Bell Rocked” out at The Grove and The Americana at Brand all month long. We provided a variety of entertainment for both properties, including holiday balloon artists, brass bands, Gingerbread Man and Frosty the Snowman. It was tons of fun for families.

National Electrical Contractors Association
We travelled to Northern California for a Fantastic “Beatles Tribute” performance for National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA).
“Amazingly RAVE Reviews!”
- Jennifer M. (NECA Event Planner)
Forest Lawn Mortuary “Legends Show”
The fabulous Cher and electric Elvis Presley brought the house down at Forest Lawn Mortuary’s Employee Appreciation event. Austin Powers, the International Man of Mystery, hosted the event and was excorted by his lovely Vegas Showgirls. Groovy Baby!!!
Collette Tours
For the fifth year in a row, we finished the year with our friends at Collette Tours. We introduced the year musically with our own “Heart & Soul” Band. (By the way, make that the sixth year in a row. We just rebooked the same shows for 2010-2011.)
The next day, January 1, we kept the party rolling with our “Legends” revue show. Elvis Presley, Ray Charles, Marilyn Monroe and Liza Minnelli rocked the stage. We ended the event on a patriotic note with our audience of out-of-towners waving flags as Elvis and Ray Charles sang “America the Beautiful.”

Nintendo’s Moroccan Paradise
Nintendo was in town for their annual developers’ conference. The reception took place at The Highlands and what a perfect location. The beautiful architecture blended so well with our Moroccan decor - magnificent jewel-toned purples, reds, greens, blues and golds. With the addition of lighting, our festive arches, purple & gold columns and shimmery drapes welcomed Morocco to Hollywood.
Guests were entertained by our fabulous “Spanish Guitars.” As smooth music flowed throughout every room to set the mood, our Psychics brought good fortune and our Henna tattoo artists painted beautiful body art.
On the luckiest day of the year, we were back at Sony with the crew. That is, Jack Nicholson and “Mommy of the Year,” Angelina Jolie, graced the red carpet while fans and photographers bombarded them. Jack was able to take care of himself, but thank goodness muscle man Joe Diamond was there to rescue the Hollywood Starlet.
The Grove is always up to something. This time they were showing Jim Henson’s Labyrinth. To prepare guests for the cinema throw-back, our balloon artist crafted fairy wings, wands, and swords. And since fairies would not be complete without their magical fairy dust, our glitter tattoo artist hand painted shimmery characters for everyone.
